Mail into different database?

From the initial question, it sounds like the mail is coming to a different database than where you want to create the documents?

You can still do something like what Clem is indicating, but the agent signer would need to have at least Author access to the database where the other docs are created, and you would need to make sure you are creating and saving the new documents in the correct database.

And a different trigger that seems to be more reliable than After new mail arrives is actually Before New Mail Arrives (the name sounds counterintuitive, but it runs when something is mailed into the database but hasn't yet appeared in the views). Otherwise, running a scheduled agent however often you want to check for new items should work, but then you need to either flag the items after you process them or include checking based on when the agent last ran to make sure you don't re-process them.

If you are looking for something more "instant", then I would try Before New Mail Arrives.
